National Gallery Gates
Trafalgar Square, London

Replica Design
The Gallery is widely recognised as a building of immense importance, confirmed by its Grade 1 status and houses one of the greatest collections of Western European paintings in the world. The site has had a history of successive developments largely prompted by the continuous growth of the collection and more recently by changing visitor needs and expectations. These new gates, based on existing gates at the west entrance, have an unusual and technically challenging large double heel in their construction.
