Stainborough Castle Handrails
Wentworth Castle Gardens, Yorkshire

Design
New handrails for a mock castle as part of a restoration project to open it up to the public. Built by the 1 Earl of Strafford between 1727 & 1730 and believed to be the second oldest Gothic folly in the country. It was used by the Earl and his family as a play area with each of his children, Harriet, Anne, Lucy & William having their own tower.

Architect: Purcell Miller Tritton
